Default Set Up
For the folks that don’t see what they need in our Foot Percussion product line, we are offering you custom work on a Farmer FootDrum with open arms. Do you crave 16+ pedals? Can you get all the pedals to play cowbells? Can the wood frame be made from historical wood? Contact me and we’ll get to work for you. Price will be given as an estimate, with the final costs determined after the project has been finished and you have approved it. The serial number tag will be denoted as “Custom” and recorded in our shop notes for posterity’s sake. No refunds after the product has shipped.
Goofy Bass – This configuration is for the 10% of customers who like a bass drum pedal on their LEFT side (Pedal #2 instead of pedal #5). Everything is the same as a regular FootDrum, but it will be symmetrically mirrored down the middle. This can be undone with a bunch of work if you want to resell it later as a standard configuration. You can order this option on the FootDrum 6, 9, 12 pedal drum kits. A small fee is applied.
Embellishments – Add some eye-catching elements to your Farmer FootDrum. We might suggest some of the following:
- binding and purfling decorative trim (see video below)
- inlays
- pedal material and styling
- wood or drum wrap veneers
- clear acrylic in place of wood frame and shells
- custom artwork
- petina
- solid wood framingÂ
Double Bass – A once-in-a-while request for having the two inner (#2 and #5) pedals each playing the bass drum. This also means that you will not be able to fit Hi-Hats inside the FootDrum. You can have externally mounted fixed hi-hats on the Left or Right Outer pedals (#1 and #6).  You also have the option for the Left and Right Outer pedals to be swinging upwards out front of the FootDrum or swinging upwards towards the center of the FootDrum, where the snare is typically mounted. Â
