Bottomless Coffee Band, of South Africa, consists of two multi-instrumentalists – Lourens and Esté Rabé – who produce a unique sound and performance. Their performance is electric and reminds of the good old days when Johnny Cash and June Carter filled theatres with folk music – entertaining and unique. A few chords and the truth! The concept came together in August 2010 when they were two young Stellenbosch University students dreaming of life in the music industry. In order to avoid sounding like the typical duo, they decided to combine several instruments with the vision to eventually sound like a full band. Lourens plays the Farmer FootDrum, among many other instruments.
